Marjohn Comendador Presbitero

Marjohn Comendador PresbiteroI earned my primary and intermediate education at Sogod Central School in Sogod, Cebu and graduated with honor. After elementary, I am fortunate enough to pass the entrance examination for UP High School – Cebu in Lahug, Cebu City. It gives me the honor to pursue my secondary education at this reputable school. Four years had passed, I graduated high school, although I didn’t graduate with honor or special award but I am very proud and honored to graduate at UP.

As we all know graduating high school is not yet the end. Yet, it is just the start of realizing our dreams. I’ve been planning to continue my studies and finish a degree in UP College. However, my dream had seemed to fade away when I didn’t qualify for a 4-year DOST scholarship grant but instead my scholarship is only for 3 yr courses. I decided to avail the scholarship and study a 3 yr technical course and waived my dream as of the moment considering my parents had been in financial problems.

As 3 years had passed, I graduated Industrial Technician Program Major in Information Technology, a 3-year technical course at Center for Industrial Technology and Enterprise in San Jose, Cebu City.

As for my dream? I had waived it forever giving way to my siblings.

At the young age of 19, I was already exposed to the reality of employment. At first I thought that after graduating college, it will be a great escape from making/reading notes, making assignments and preparing for quizzes and examinations. But it is just a new start of a new exciting and challenging experience, to join the work force. For more than 4 years in the work force, I had worked in the Research and Development and Manufacturing Plant of a multinational company, one of the 500 fortune companies.

Being employed, gives me the opportunity to meet different kinds of people and how to deal with them. However, it doesn’t give me the total freedom to live the life I want. You’d be a slave, waking up early morning so that you won’t be late. Follow orders/memos from supervisors or else you’ll be reprimanded.

As of my experience in the work force, you can only find bits of gold to help support your needs. It will never give you the opportunity to find chest of gold and diamonds to fulfill your dreams.

I am very thankful that I meet JOBLESS SOCIETY on this path I took. Jobless Society gives me the opportunity to be my own boss and earn unlimited stream of income in which you can’t earn when employed.

I really, really, really want to travel around the tourist attractions and sceneries here and abroad. Also, I love to watch soccer matches in TV and in person. Hopefully, I can watch a WORLD CUP soccer match in 2014 in Brazil. Lastly, I like to play soccer either in tournaments and friendly games.

Joining JOBLESS SOCIETY doesn’t really mean that I have to quit my job. I joined jobless because I want to convert my jobless hours to earn extra income. I do also want to be my own boss of my business. And here in JOBLESS SOCIETY it gives me the opportunity, to earn more than my salary.

I’m hoping that we’ll be a one big happy family in the future with a total members of 1% of the world population. And JOBLESS Society will continue giving opportunities to all willing and determined individuals.
