Ruby Kareen Lano Basilla

Ruby Kareen Lano BasillaI Studied Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering in Cebu Institute of Technology. I completed a course in CorelDraw, Photoshop and PageMaker in SMARTDRIVE COMPUTER CENTER and Basic Computer course in Cebu Advance Computer Center.

I am “Jobless” since birth. I’m originally, a shy girl, but evolve into a more open person after a few passing minutes… or hours… or days. Not much of a conversationalist, but a good listener. Only speak when I have to. I love to have fun and laugh, but I’m also serious and a deep thinker. I try to be enthusiastic as much as possible so that I may enjoy every passing second of my life. I like to learn a little of just about anything but change makes me nervous which is why I feel stuck a lot of times.  I get along with people from all walks of life. I believe there’s greatness in everyone- you just got to know how to draw the goodness out of them, and perhaps change your perspective.

My family & friends mean the world to me and keep me sane in this chaos I call my life. I am always grateful to have them in my life cause I know I wouldn’t be where and what I am now without them.

I am not perfect. I have made many mistakes in life. I’ve hurt a lot of people in the past. I tend to speak what I feel even if it isn’t the right thing to say. But see, I’ve learned, hehehe. I may look mean or weird at first (maybe all the time), but don’t immediately judge me (I am not a book, bleh) or have this aspersion towards me.

My biggest pet peeve is someone who thinks they’re better than the rest of us…and who suffers from chronic arrogance.

All I really want out of life is for me and the people I love to be happy.

Seems I have quite an unpredictable character. Otherwise, it’s just that people misjudge me and end up positively surprised.

Things I like most that I want to do? Try bungee jumping, paragliding, and skydiving! Study voice lessons, play guitar, be in a choir. Travel to places I’ve never been, with my family of course. Have my own house (dream house) years from now. Overcome my fears and insecurities. Have a complete and happy family – a family that I can call my own. Be successful and make my family proud. And help the less fortunate families (especially the children) in my own little ways.

If you are not contented with what you have in life (especially economically), then join Jobless Society. It’s not guaranteed that you will be contented in life when you are in this society, but it is guaranteed that you can make more out of your life by living the ideals and aspirations that will be imparted within and by the group.

Expectations:

- I expect this group to be known by its purpose and to be able to achieve the goals and missions, and continue to learn and grow in the coming years.

I thank you… Bow!
